UGOS Pro is the operating system on UGREEN NASync models; UGREEN's product pages use that name and its operating-system page shortens it to UGOS. UGREEN lists apps for storage pools and RAID, block storage for other machines, snapshots, backup to cloud drives, Docker, virtual machines, photos, video, music and camera recording. Its update plan, last revised on August 24, 2026, says GPU passthrough, folder encryption and Amazon S3 and Backblaze backup arrived in the last three versions, and that rsync sync and Google Drive mounting are planned within twelve months.

How to read the plan
UGREEN attaches a caveat to the plan: planned updates may change during development, and features and availability may be adjusted. Treat the third table as intent with a date on it, not as something to buy on.
Two things people ask about sit in that third table and not the second: rsync and third-party access to the media server. Neither had shipped when UGREEN last revised the plan.
