Seagate Exos Deals – Prime Big Deal Days 2026
Exos is Seagate's datacenter line: louder than IronWolf, rated for heavier workloads, and frequently cheaper per terabyte at 16TB and above. The main table is new drives only. Renewed Exos units, which are where the very low prices live, are on the recertified hard drive page with their warranty and seller shown.

Nothing here is at a tracked low, because we hold no price history for these listings before this week. The lowest-ranked row is the Seagate Exos X14 12TB at $435.81 ($36.32/TB) against Amazon's own reference price of $549.66, with no verdict claimed.
Worth checking out today
Few Seagate Exos listings have enough price history with us to call a tracked low yet, so these are the standouts on Amazon.com today: Prime-exclusive offers first, then the deepest cuts against Amazon's own reference price. Amazon's reference is its figure, not our price record.

Verdicts: Our tracked low is at or below the lowest price we recorded before today; within 3% is close to it; cut vs list only is below Amazon's reference price but above our low; no history yet means we make no claim. The 90-day line shades the event days. Was prices are Amazon's reference prices.

We have no price record from before this week for the listings on this page, so we make no claim beyond showing Amazon's own reference price. Of 12 rows, 0 are at or near our low, 1 are cut only against Amazon's list price, 4 cost more than usual, and 7 have no history yet. Exos prices are compared with the lowest price per terabyte recorded for the same capacity across all new CMR NAS and enterprise drives. Hard drive prices have risen through 2026 on AI datacenter demand (why hard drives cost more in 2026), so a price that only matches our low is a better outcome than in an ordinary year.
Frequently asked questions
Is Exos too loud for a home NAS?
Exos drives are noticeably louder when seeking than IronWolf or WD Red Plus. In a closet or basement it rarely matters; on a desk next to you it can.
Why are renewed Exos drives not in this table?
Renewed drives have shorter warranties and different sellers, so mixing them with new drives would distort the verdicts. They are on the recertified hard drive deals page.
Do Exos drives need the 3.3V pin fix?
Some Exos models support the power-disable feature on SATA pin 3. Most NAS backplanes handle it; in a desktop case with an older power supply, a Molex-to-SATA adapter avoids the issue.
Is Exos M 28TB worth it?
Only when its price per terabyte is at or below smaller Exos drives. Very large drives take longer to rebuild, so pair them with RAID 6 or RAID-Z2.
