For phone and photo backup, a pair of 4TB to 8TB drives is plenty and keeps the total low. The fill table shows the three capacities with the lowest price per terabyte today, all within the DH2300's 32TB-per-bay limit.
Can the DH2300 run Plex?
It can serve files that play directly. Its ARM chip is not suited to transcoding, so for Plex with remote streaming a DXP2800 is the better UGREEN.
Is shucking worth it for a DH2300?
